The port is at the core of the town and full of small fishing boats overlooked by the remains of an ancient Venetian castle.
Kamares is the port town of the island of Sifnos, located on the western side of the island. Sifnos is one the most famous ceramics production centers in the country,and you will find many workshops specked around the town. The principle settlement is located on the right side of the port and has a lot of tavernas, shops and bread shops where you can replenish your provisions. The shoreline has a watersports club where you can enjoy handling something faster and smaller than your boat.
The town of Loutra is acclaimed for its hot springs which stream directly into the ocean. You can see where the water is streaming down on the edge of the town and joins the sea at the town beach. For a free spa experience, you can lay in the tub built with rocks where the hot water mixes with the sea, making the temparature perfect for hot tubbing.
Finikas is a sizeable and exuberant town in the SW part of the Syros Island. The port has a lot of room for visting boats and there are a large number of tavernas to choose from. Near the port, there is a beautiful beach, which is favored by the locals during the peak season.
