Frikes (Ithaca Island)

Frikes is a small harbour that is located the NE side of Ithaca Island. If the weather is calm, this quaint, pristine village is a good place to anchor overnight, although mooring can be difficult due to the strong gusts that come down the deep valley behind Frikes during the afternoon breezes. Youcan replenish your supplies from the minimart and the greengrocers truck that comes around every day, and have your ouzo with local delicacies at one of the three tavernas. In spite of the additional exertion required to secure your yacht, Frikes remains a great place to visit.
