Paros Town (Paros Island)

Paros Town is the capital of the island. With a population of approximately 3000, this little town is the business and social center of Paros. Encircling the port, Paros is built in the traditional architectural style of the Cyclades, consisting of whitewashed houses with flat roofs. One side of the waterfront is lined with cafes, tavernas, bars and restaurants while the beaches lay on the other side. The trademark of Paros Town is the large whitewashed windmill which greets you as you enter the port.
